ICANN TLD Policy Severe on Development of IDN Domain Names

In 2008, ICANN made it known to the community that it is finally ready to discuss Internationalized Domain Names regarding Top-Level Domains (TLDs) after several years of working groups, technical trials, studies, and considerations.
